Toco Toucan belongs to species Ramphastos and are found in Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil. Its diet consists of fruits, insects, small birds, small lizards. It has an incubation period of 17-18 days. It inhabits savannah, forest patches, woodlands. It has a lifespan of 12 – 20 years and their breeding season is Spring. It weighs around 500 – 876g, with a wingspan of 110 – 152 cm and length of 61 – 63 cm. Its sexual maturity is at 2 – 3 years. And it is a non- migratory bird.
