Eurasian Spoonbill belongs to species Platalea leucorodia and are found in UK, Portugal, Denmark, Korea, India. Its diet consists of Insects, Mollusks, Crustaceans, Small fish, Aquatic plants. It has an incubation period of 24 – 25 Days. It inhabits Terrestrial, Lakes & Reservoirs, Inland, Marine & Brackish water wetlands. It has a lifespan of 25 – 30 years approx. and their breeding season is March – April. It weighs around 1200 – 1500 gm, with a wingspan of 105 – 120 and length of 110 – 130 cm. Its sexual maturity is at 3 – 4 years. And it is a Migratory/Often Local Migration bird.
