It has an incubation period of 28 days. It inhabits rural areas, forests, savanna. It has a lifespan of 30 – 35 years and their breeding season is January – July. It weighs around 0.9 – 1.5 kg, with a wingspan of 102 – 112.5 cm and length of 76 – 86 cm. Its sexual maturity is at 3 – 6 years. And it is a non- migratory bird.
